BACKGROUND:
The client’s objective was to refurbish a large, 30-year-old, decaying and neglected swimming pool into a ‘best in class’ indoor Splash Waterworld experience.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
Our design addressed how the whole pool operated – significantly increasing bathing load whilst reducing staffing levels at key points.

- New Splashpad Waterplay
- Totally renovated flumes
- New Tot’s Pool
- New Swim Lanes Pool
- New Reception and Retail outlet, ‘Millie’s Cookies’
- Rebranding and new entrance presentation
OUTCOME:
The finished pool is a huge success – awarded ‘Holiday Park Pool of the Year’ at the UK Pool & Spa Awards.
The client featured the pool in their national TV advertising campaign and the widely travelled and experienced manager of the park declared his opinion that “This is now the finest Caravan Park Pool facility in the UK”.
